Hi Karen – I am so glad that you contacted me. I was going to call today to tell your company how pleased we were with the service. This was a rather unusual request being that the patient had been transported to MASS General via LifeStar for surgery that could not be performed at Saint Francis earlier in the day. It was determined that the surgery could not be performed without the images from the CT Scan that had been performed yesterday at Saint Francis. I was made aware of this at 3:15pm – MASS General’s courier service could not make it here in time. I had no choice but to Google Medical Couriers in Hartford. My first call was to a company that could not do it until today. You were next on the list so I gave it a try. The first person I spoke with was Mike – awesome!! So helpful got back to me with an answer and estimate on cost of the trip within 5 minutes. Once I confirmed the payment with Saint Francis Mike had arranged for your courier to come from Wallingford straight here and get the package then right off to Boston!!!! Your courier was right on time arriving at 5:40pm – extremely professional, caring and concerned for the patient. Your courier was given written instructions on where to go at MASS General and what surgeon to hand the package off to. At 7:45pm I received a call from your courier stating he had arrived, contacted the surgeon and that the surgeon had the package! Absolutely professional, compassionate, and considerate of our needs in such an emergent situation. A Fantastic service from start to finish!!
